However, even with that worked into the equation, when it comes to statistics, the truth is we’re way behind a slew of other countries when it comes to gun violence. I’d say that’s reason to celebrate, but that would make for a really grim party, seeing as how we’d be whooping it up over the fact that some countries are plagued by more senseless violence than we are.
